Prayer for Syria starts with improvisations alternating
between the drums and Moslem Rahal
on the nay flute, leading into "Ala Ajaleh", a fast
unison piece composed by Essam Rafea culminating
with a furious solo again by Moslem
Rahal. After that, Søren Lyngsø and Aske Bode
create an electronic transition to the final part
of "Prayer for Syria" - a continuously evolving
chorale based on the old traditional Arabic
melody "Samai Farahfaza"
